The great Dan Tyminski joins me for this episode of the podcast. We talk at length about his career, from his early days in Vermont, some of his musical influences, the LRB years, Alison Krauss & Union Station, and his new solo recording Southern Gothic.  This was a great time. Hope you enjoy!

On todays episode I tell a few ghost stories for Halloween. I tend to be skeptical of most but I've got a few things I've experienced personally that I can't explain. I also talk about the "Spook light" in Oklahoma, and The Brown Mountain Lights in North Carolina, two legendary ghost tales.

On todays show I talk with entrepreneur and inventor Travis Perry. He created ChordBuddy primarily for his daughter, then went on Shark Tank and won an investment. We talk about life before and after Shark Tank and what lead him into music, creating the ChordBuddy and his success post Shark Tank. I was watching the night the show aired, I knew he was likable and that's confirmed even more so after our conversation. I had a great time with this one!

Darin & Brooke Aldridge join me for today's show, fresh off of their award winning week at the World Of Bluegrass Conference in Raleigh. I spoke with Darin and Brooke separately during this one because they were actually on the road as we recorded. Darin and I talked some about the old days, his time with The Country Gentlemen and what lead him to where he is now and Brooke and I discuss singing, her recent Female Vocalist of The Year award,  taking care of your voice and being homebodies. Enjoyed this and hope you do as well.

In this episode the award winning musician and producer, Carl Jackson joined me while we were both in Raleigh. Carl has been playing music professionally since he was a teen and joined Glen Campbells' band and was there for 12 years. Since that time Carl has gone on to be a  successful songwriter, musician and Grammy winning producer. We talk mostly about his time working with Glen and about the recent Glen Campbell album that Carl produced, Adios. I really enjoyed hearing these stories. I hope you do too.
